Confidence and trust; rare commodity these days.
Buying a used Bentley outside the Bentley dealer network could be considered taking a risk but the gents at Romans were straight talking, were prepared to negotiate a ‘deal' and the car was exactly as described and well presented on collection.I had confidence that my choice of car and dealer were the right ones and this was borne out by events.

Porsche 997 sold within 4 weeks
I asked Romans to sell my Porsche 997 and they found a buyer within 4 weeks, at a price which was acceptable. Very happy that a deal was done and the transaction flowed without fuss. Thanks for your support in getting the car sold.

I have purchased my second Mercedes from Romans of St Albans and I can honestly say I am delighted with my purchases.
John, David and Lucas have been outstanding from start to finish there customer care is second to none.

A great independent dealership
Having always thought main dealer franchises gave the best and most reliable service, Romans have proved me wrong. I was delighted with the attentive, friendly, un-pushy service and the quality of the car. When I collected the vehicle it was in showroom condition, fully valeted and they had ensured that I had more than enough fuel to get me home. I will have no hesitation in buying from them again.

Commission Sale.
After contacting other dealers about selling my beloved Ferrari F430 I was a bit disheartened as they were indifferent about the idea and my expectation of value. I then called Romans who had a completely different perspective and were confident they could get a sale at the right price. The terms of the deal were reasonable so the next day I dropped the vehicle off for preparation. I returned to see it in the showroom and I couldn't believe how good it looked, better than anytime during my ownership! As you would expect with a specialist vehicle it can take a while to sell, during that time they would periodically call and give me an update on viewings. Even though it was a fixed commission deal I was advised not to accept a low offer and hold out for the right buyer which I did and the car has now been sold. I couldn't be happier with the team at Romans they are all polite and professional, so much so they are working on sourcing my next vehicle!

Having now bought and sold a vehicle through Romans I just wanted to say thanks to John & the rest of the staff. I was extremely pleased with the Porsche I bought from Romans a couple of years ago and the service I received throughout the process. When it came to selling the car I was given exactly what had been negotiated. Once again the process was dealt with in a courteous and professional manner. I won't hesitate to use Romans again or indeed to recommend them to any potential buyers. Good old fashioned family business.

Great service from David when buying my new Aston Martin Vantage. I found the perfect example at Romans. They keep excellent quality stock with perfect provenance. David has a no pressure approach and is very knowledgable. He made sure my car was ready for collection at short notice including a service, so that I could take it away for the weekend.
I'll be paying him a visit when the time comes to change.
