I found out about Romans on Pistonheads and called to see if they would be interested in buying my 911 having had an offer from Porsche. John looked up the spec , David came over and was surprisingly nice & easygoing given a potentially stressful experience , and offered the full amount agreed by phone . Romans sent me the funds on the spot without fuss & even helped with the number plate retention / new plates. Would highly recommend .

David gave me a call offering to help with the sale of my Ferrari 488 that I'd posted on autotrader.

The process was incredibly smooth & whilst I'd expected it to take a couple of months it was sold within 2 weeks.

The car achieved a fair price, sales commission was reasonable & overall very good professional service.

Would recommend to others that are trying to sell their high end cars privately.

Excellent experience from all the team at Romans, both buying and selling. I originally chose Romas due to their great reviews, and they really did live up to my expectations. When I bought my 911, the service was great, the price was fair and the car was incredible. When I sold through Romans, the process was really clear, and they were straight forward with what I should expect to achieve price wise. Even during COVID-19, they managed to sell quickly and for very close to the advertised price. I highly recommend them, and will be back in the future.

I bought a Porsche Turbo from Romans a couple of years ago,had an excellent service from them and was delighted with the car. Due to a change in circumstances I asked John if he would sell my car for me, which he agreed to do and Lucas collected it from my home. Not only have they marketed and sold my car for a very fair commission, they have also managed to secure a price that was close to the one I purchased it for, which of course I was delighted with!
I can highly recommend Romans of St Albans, not only do they sell top class vehicles, as importantly they do it in a certain manner. They are absolute gents, stay true to their word and you can clearly see why they are so well respected and have been around for such a long time.
