We have owned performance cars for over 35 years changing them every two to three years. Looking for a Porsche 911 two and a half years years ago I found the ideal car at Romans. It was a rare Graphite Blue, had low mileage, competitively priced and looked stunning.
We arranged a test drive and David explained its history. Buying it was a no brainer. Over the time we owned the car Romans gave us huge support - answering any queries, arranging services, free MOT. We always were welcomed, nothing too much trouble.
Time to change the car we went straight back to Romans. John, the owner, gave us a great trade in price and we bought a Porsche 992 convertible. A fabulous car! It was delivered to us in a special trailer and rolled out spotless.
Once you buy from Romans you feel part of a family. We will not go anywhere else to buy a performance car

We have bought two Porsches from Romans. Both cars were competitively priced, I low mileage, and in excellent condition. The staff were friendly knowledgeable and helpful. When we traded in the first car recently we received a very good price for it. John the owner and his staff are dedicated to making sure you are happy with your car and offer ongoing support including free MOT for life. We will not go anywhere else for our performance cars

Excellent service from start to finish at Romans.
I dealt with David and John mostly and they were very helpful in every way possible.
They went above and beyond to accommodate all my needs having turned up at short notice on both my visits to view my Ferrari F430 Spider, they were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions with ease and went out there way to get information I requested.
I had a specific day I could get down to collect my car and they really went out of there way to make that happen keeping in constant contact thoughout.
100% recommend I traveled the length of the country to get my car from Romans and it was worth it. Thanks for the effort to everyone at Romans I'm loving the car

I had advertised a car myself but was not able to sell it as prospective purchasers wanted to trade in an existing vehicle and as a private person didnt want to take a px. Knowing people who had dealt with Romans and spoke well of them I called in to discuss them doing a commission sale on my behalf. Satisfactory terms were agreed straight away with John and David who said what they could achieve for the car. I left the car with them which was then prepared for sale. I did see that the car was marketed on several media platforms. A couple of weeks later I was called with an offer for the car. I stated the price at which I would sell and a day later the car was sold . I signed the Purchase Order and the sale proceeds were paid into my bank account the same day. No drama, no hassle. Highly recommended.

Great experience from the team at Romans and Kai in particular who was helpful and accommodating throughout the process. The car was definitely at the lower end of what they deal with but we felt very well looked after. The initial meeting and test drive was well organised and Kai had all the information on the car and the answers to all the questions. I am not a car expert but felt able to make an informed decision and buy the car. The process of the payment and paperwork for the transfer of the car was efficient and well explained. I was looking to sell my Aston Martin DB7 recently and contacted, Romans of St. Albans. They immediately arranged a viewing and John arrived the following day. Started the car, had a look under the bonnet, at the bodywork and we settled on a price. Money was in the bank a few days later before they even picked up the car.
