you are now on the London Road, follow it along for 2 miles
as you come to St Albans, drive up the hill where there is a crossroad with a set of traffic lights
go straight across - this leads into Verulam Road (A5183)
Verulam Road bears to the right - follow it along for about 3/4 miles
