The Boxster has a timeless style that while utterly contemporary, manages to hark back to Porsche,s numerous historic roadsters and racers. On the road all Porsche,s chassis expertise is apparent. Mid-engined, rather than rear-engined like the 911, the Boxster is a driver,s dream. The steering is beautifully weighted and extremely communicative - though there is little interference from poor surfaces. This very late example of the 986 Boxster is a revised model with variable valve timing being introduced and increasing the output to 228 bhp. A new hood featuring a glass rear window was also introduced, while a revised, better sounding, exhaust and slight styling tweaks also featured.
